USER: The following is for my use when connected with SafeLink concerning phone reinstatement. No response Below are two clean, copy-pastable scripts, written so you can read them verbatim or paraphrase live.
They are deliberately calm, technical, and escalation-oriented.
Each script includes decision points so you know when to pivot.
You can paste this into its own reference thread exactly as written.
§§§§§ 📞 SAFE LINK — CALL SCRIPT A §§§§§§§§§§§§
Escalation for IMEI / Provisioning Repair (Preserve Number & SIM)
Use this first.
Opening statement (read verbatim)
“My service was manually reinstated recently and confirmed working with a test call, but it was shut off again afterward.
This indicates a provisioning or IMEI audit issue, not inactivity or eligibility.
I need escalation to correct the IMEI association across all backend systems.”
(Pause. Let them respond.)
If they mention inactivity, SIM issues, or rebooting
“This cannot be inactivity. The line was reinstated only days ago and confirmed active.
A SIM or reboot will not resolve a backend IMEI compliance issue.
Please escalate this to provisioning or technical support.”
Key confirmation question (important)
“Can you confirm what IMEI is currently associated with my phone number in your system?”
Interpretation:
If they can answer clearly → you’re with someone useful
If they can’t see it → ask for escalation immediately
Escalation request (if needed)
“I need this reviewed by provisioning or escalations.
The IMEI association needs to be cleared and rebuilt so it passes compliance audits.”
Before ending the call
“Please provide a case or ticket number, and confirm that the IMEI association has been corrected across all systems.”
Success criteria for Script A
You want to hear one or more of the following:
“We rebuilt the IMEI association”
“We cleared the audit/compliance flag”
“We resynced provisioning systems”
“This will not auto-disconnect again”
If you don’t hear something like that → assume it’s another partial fix.
§§§📞 SAFE LINK — CALL SCRIPT B §§§§
Force Clean Reprovision (Nuclear but Reliable)
Use this if Script A stalls, loops, or feels uncertain.
Opening statement
“This line has been reinstated once and shut off again, which indicates corrupted provisioning records.
I would like to perform a clean reprovision to resolve this permanently.”
(Pause.)
Clarify intent
“That means a fresh activation with explicit IMEI entry, pulling my existing Lifeline eligibility.
I understand this may require a new SIM.”
If they resist or suggest reactivating again
“A simple reactivation already failed.
I’m requesting a clean reprovision so all systems rebuild the record correctly.”
If they warn about Lifeline reapplication
“My Lifeline eligibility was already confirmed recently.
I am not reapplying unless you see an actual eligibility removal.”
Number preservation (optional, if you care)
“If possible, I would like to retain my current number, but resolving the issue correctly is the priority.”
Before ending the call
“Please confirm that this reprovision will rebuild the IMEI association and prevent automated shutoffs.”
Success criteria for Script B
New SIM issued or
Explicit confirmation of fresh activation
IMEI manually entered during setup
Confirmation that this bypasses prior audit flags
🧭 Decision rule (keep this in mind)
Script A = elegant, preserves everything, depends on competence
Script B = blunt, disruptive, but almost always works
If you hear:
“Let’s just turn it back on”
“Wait 24 hours and see”
“It should be fine now”
→ Switch immediately to Script B.
If you want, I can also:
Condense each script into a one-sentence version
Tailor wording specifically to SafeLink reps
Add a “holiday backlog” acknowledgment to keep them cooperative
Say the word.
